Question: How do I configure Aeron to work with my Webstation or Airlite?
Answer: Link: please follow the steps at this link

(Click the pictures to enlarge!)

When you start Aeron go to the “Tools” pulldown menu (Red square) and click to open.

Then go to “Preferences” (Red square) and click to open the settings.

Now the “Preferences” page opens and you need to go to “Local” (Red square) and click.

At the “Local” page you need to go to “Audio” (Blue square) where you'll find the audio settings.

In the “Output routing” (Orange square) you can setup the outputs.
For “Live A / Auto” you select the first USB channel.
For “Live B” you select the second USB channel.
For “Jingle A / E” you select the third USB channel.
For “Jingle B / F” you select the fourth USB channel.
Optional you can setup “Jingle C / G” to play at the Voip channel.
The “VT 1” and “PFL 1” has to be routed to the same USB channel as “Live A”.
The “VT 2” and “PFL 2” has to be routed to the same USB channel as “Live B”.
The “VT 3” can be routed to the third USB channel.
The “VT 4” can be routed to the third USB channel.

The VT channels match the tracks in the “Mix editor”.

At the “Input alias and gain” (Purple square) you can configure a name that is easy to recognize for the inputs at the recorders.

Confirm the settings with “Apply” (Green square).

When you go to “Automation” (Red square) and then to “Extern audio Directsound” (Blue square) you can route an input and output (Purple square) for an external produced program.

This can also be the input and output of a second sound card.

Your license also activates the options to control Aeron with a D&R product.
To configure this you'll have to go to “Local” (Red square) and then “Airlite / Webstation” (Green square) or “Airence”.
Click at “Airlite / Webstation” to open it's setup page.

Now go to “Airlite Control” (Red square) at your taskbar and right click on the icon.

Click at “Settings” to open the “Airlite Control” communication software.

At the “Connection” page (Red square) you'll now need to add the “Host” 127.0.0.1 ip address.
The “Receive port” you'll need the “Custom” port (Purple square) and at the “Send port you'll need the “Listen” port (Blue square).
At Aeron confirm your settings with “Apply” (Green square).

To be sure that everything works and all the ports are open at the firewall we recommend to restart Aeron.

When you applied your settings you'll see that the “Status” (Red square) will say “Connect” and “Driver” will say “Airlite Library v.1.1.133.0 - xxxx-xx-xx (xx:xx:xx) - D&R”.
At the “Firmware” line it should tell you the installed firmware version “D&R Airlite Firmware v1.xx”.

This tells you that the connection works both ways.

Now at “Live assist” (Blue square) you can select the channels that are used for “Live A” and “Live B”.
And at “Jingle player” (Purple square) you can select the channels that are used for “Jingle A”, “Jingle B”, “Jingle C” and “Jingle D” players.

Confirm your settings with “Apply” (Green square).

To change the Jingle (Cart players) from 4 players to 2 click at the Jingle plater name bar (Red square) to open the pull down menu.

At the “Carts count” you can now select “2” or “4” players, Apply with “Enter”.

The 2 “Jingle” players now match “A” and “B” row at the control surface.
Keys “1” to “7” are the cart numbers in Aeron and “8” will “stop” the players.

The selected cart player will also start with the fader start of the matching fader.

All settings can be changed and tweaked to meet your own desires.
